ZTE has introduced its two new smartphones named, Nubia Z9 Max & Z9 Mini at an event in China as the successors to Z7 Max and Z7 Mini respectively. As for specifications, the Nubia Z9 phone is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display and houses 16 GB of inbuilt storage. The handset runs Android 5.0 operating system with nubia UI 2.8 on the top. The nubia Z9 Max sports a 16 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony Exmor RS sensor and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. It packs a 2900 mAh battery. Connectivity option on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and USB-OTG. Additionally, the handset comes with Dolby 7.1 Surround sound support
The Nubia Z9 Mini packs some identical specifications as that of Z9 Max except that it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It also features a 5 inch full HD display unlike 5.5 inch display of Z9 Max.

Price and Availability
The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is priced at CNY 2499 while the Z9 Mini phone is priced at CNY 1499. Pre-booking for both the devices are now open in China. There is no word about the availability of the handsets.
