ZTE has launched cheapest 4G smartphone in the Indian market, called Blade Qlux 4G phone. The handset packs great features and can be grabbed for just Rs. 4,999 exclusively from Amazon India starting June 16. It will compete with other 4G smartphones in the Indian market such as Yu Yuphoria, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 2.

Processor & RAM
The ZTE Blade Qlux is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732Mprocessor. Other three handsets are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The Yu Yuphoria and lenovo A6000 Plus feature 2GB of RAM while ZTE Blade Qlux and Redmi 2 house 1GB of RAM.
Display
Yuphoria and Lenovo A6000 Plus feature a 5 inch HD IPS (1280×720 pixels) display. Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with a 4.7 inch (1280×720 pixels) screen and ZTE Blade Qlux sports a 4.5 inch (854×480 pixels) display
Camera
All four phones sport an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash. The ZTE Blade Qlux and Yu Yuphoria feature a 5 mega pixel front facing camera while other two smartphones namely Lenovo A6000 Plus and Redmi 2 sport a 2 mega pixel front shooter.
Storage
The ZTE Qlux and Redmi 2 house 8GB of inbuilt storage as opposed to 16GB internal memory of Yu Yuphoria and Lenovo A6000 Plus. All the four handsets come with 32GB of expandable storage support.
Battery & Connectivity
The battery capacities of all the four phones are nearly the same. Lenovo A6000 Plus packs a 2300mAh battery followed by Yu Yuphoria with 2230mAh battery. Other two devices, ZTE Blade Qlux and Redmi 2 are backed up by a 2200mAh battery.
On connectivity front, these devices offer dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Operating System
The ZTE Blade Qlux runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Yu Yuphoria runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. Lenovo A6000 Plus and Redmi 2 run Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under their respective UI’s.
Price
ZTE Blade Qlux is the cheapest smartphone with a price tag of Rs. 4,999. Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 are priced at Rs. 6,999 which is Rs. 2,000 more than the price of Blade Qlux. Lenovo A6000 Plus with Rs. 7,499 price tag is the most expensive phone in this lot.
Verdict
Yu Yuphoria, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 2 pack larger displays with better (1280×720 pixels) resolution. The former two also feature more RAM and more expandable storage, but all these handsets carry a higher price tag. Loaded with excellent features in just Rs. 4,999, the ZTE’s Blade Qlux proves to be a great buy in this price range.
