Alongside Yu Yuphoria smartphone, Yu Televentures has launched its YuFit band and HealthYu device in the Indian market. The YuFit band, as the name suggests is a fitness tracker which tracks sleep, distance traveled, calories burnt and much more by the user. It is touted as first calorie counter for Indian foods. It also makes sure that the user stays connected by displaying all incoming calls and messages on its AMOLED display. It comes with find phone feature so that you don’t misplace your synced smartphone. The band syncs with Healthyfy Me app which lets the user know about calorie intake for the entire day. Its also offers coaches for assistance while users can also opt for personal trainers.
The HealthYu on the other hand, is a cassette sized device which measures body vitals such as ECG, heart rate, skin temperature, blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation level. It requires user to hold it in the palm with the smartphone and displays all body details right on the smartphone’s screen. It also comes with an option to send the statistics to doctor with just a tap on the screen. This device integrates with HealthYu app available in the app stores and keeps a track of users health and fitness.
Yu has also launched its Yuphoria smartphone today. Priced at Rs. 6,999, it will go on sale starting May 28 and the registrations will begin at 5:00 PM today.
Price and Availability
The YuFit band is priced at Rs. 999 and HealthYU device is priced at Rs. 4,999. Both devices will be available starting June 2015. Registrations are now open. The company has announced that the first 1000 YuFit band users will get free assistance from trainers and coaches.
