Yu Mobiles has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The new Yu Yureka 2 is the latest addition to the company’s Yureka series of handsets (following original Yureka, the Yureka Plus, the Yureka Note, Yureka S, and Yureka Black). The Yu Yureka 2 is priced in India at Rs 11,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart from September 20. The new smartphone will be part of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale that will last until September 24. The handset is expected to come with some exciting offers during the sale.

The Yu Yureka 2 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1080 x 1920pixels) resolution and 2.5D glass. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
On the camera front, the new smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3930mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.

The Yu Yureka 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) features 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options.
