Yu Televentures has launched its latest affordable smartphone Yu Yunique in India. With Rs. 4,999 price tag, it is one of the cheapest 4G enabled smartphones in the sub-Rs. 5,000 price range.

Processor & RAM
Yu Yunique and Xiaomi Redmi 2 are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek 6592M processor while the Canvas Spark packs a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. All four smartphones are coupled with 1GB of RAM.
Operating System
Yu Yunique runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, Redmi 2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under MIUI 6. Canvas Spark runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and Canvas Xpress 2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is upgradable to Lollipop.
Display
Yu Yunique, Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Micromax Canvas Spark feature a 4.7-inch display however there is a difference in their display resolution. The former 2 smartphones have screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels while the latter has qHD display with slightly lower 960×540 pixels resolution.
Storage
This round is a tie. All the four phones house 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card.
Camera
The Yu Yunique, Redmi 2 and Canvas Spark sport an 8 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash accompanied with a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 has the best combination of cameras. It sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash while there is also a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Battery
Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 packs largest 2500 mAh battery followed by Redmi 2 with 2200 mAh battery. Other two smartphones, namely Yu Yunique and Canvas Spark are backed up by 2000 mAh battery.
Connectivity
Yu Yunique and Xiaomi Redmi 2 support 4G LTE. Both Micromax smartphones in the comparison lack 4G LTE connectivity. All the four smartphones come with dual SIM support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
Price
Yu Yunique and Canvas Spark carry lower price tag of Rs. 4,999 as compared to Rs. 5,999 price tag of Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Micromax Canvas Xpress 2.
