Within six months of its launch in the Indian market, YotaPhone has received third price slash. The handset is now available for Rs. 8,999 through e-commerce website Flipkart which is the exclusive retailer of the device. YotaPhone was originally launched in the Indian market in October 2014 for Rs. 23,499 and since then, has lost around Rs. 14,500 from its price tag. As far as specifications of the handset are concerned, it is powered by dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM and runs rather dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It features dual screen 4.3 inch LCD HD IPS display.
For photography freaks, the handset sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 1 mega pixel front facing camera. It houses 32 GB of inbuilt storage. The device packs an 1800 mAh battery. Connectivity options offered by this device include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and USB. It measures 67 x 133.6 x 9.99 mm, weighs 146 grams and and includes Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Compass and Proximity Sensor.
