Xolo Q1001 Smartphone Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Xolo has launched its new smartphone Xolo Q1001 in the Indian market. The dual-SIM handset is powered by quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz accompanied with 512 MB of RAM and Mali-400 MP2 GPU. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and 196 ppi pixel density. Read on to find more information on price, specifications, features and availability of the handset.

On storage front, the handset houses 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. There is a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash on the rear and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera for making video calls and capturing selfies. It includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

It packs a 2000 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 555 hours of standby time and up to 12 hours of talk time on 3G network. The handset measures 143 x 73.2 x 9.5 mm and weighs 150 grams.

Xolo also launched its Xolo A1010 smartphone earlier this month. The handset is powered by a 1.0 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Other specifications of the handset include 5 inch IPS display(854 x 480 pixels, 196 ppi), 5 mega pixel rear camera with flash, VGA front facing camera, 4 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card) and 2500 mAh battery.

Price and Availability

The Xolo Q1001 smartphone is now available to buy via online and offline stores. The phone is listed on company’s website with a price tag of Rs. 6,199 however the handset is available to buy via online retailers for price as low as Rs. 5,789.
