Expanding its LT series, Xolo has launched 4G enabled Xolo LT2000 in India. The handset is priced at Rs. 9,999 and is available to buy from online retailers like Amazon.in, Flipkart and Snapdeal. The Xolo LT2000 in the Indian market will compete with the likes of Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G both of which are 4G enabled devices and are priced in sub-Rs.10,000 category. Processor & RAM
The chipset powering all the three handsets is Qualcomm Snapdragon. Yu Yureka is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU which seems powerful configuration. The Xolo LT200 is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor alongside 1 GB of RAM while Redmi Note 4G comes powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.6 GHz and coupled with 2 GB of RAM.
Display
There is a tie among the three devices in display size. All the three smartphones feature a 5.5 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 267 ppi pixel density.
Camera
Camera has become a crucial factors for most of the buyers these days. Witnessing the selfie trend among the customers, smartphone makers are coming up with great camera features. Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G sport a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Xolo LT2000 however lags behind in this department with an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel camera in the front.
Storage
Xolo LT2000 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G house 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB and 64 GB respectively via microSD card. Yu Yureka comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD card slot.
Battery & Connectivity
Redmi Note 4G packs the biggest 3100 mAh battery followed by 2920 mAh battery of Xolo LT2000 and Yu Yureka with 2500 mAh battery.
All the three devices feature 4G LTE connectivity besides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options.
Operating System
Yu Yureka runs Cyanogen 11 based Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. Redmi Note 4G runs Android 4.4 wrapped under MIUI version 5. Xolo LT2000 runs Android 4.4 which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Price
The Xolo LT2000 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G are priced at Rs. 9,999 both of which are available to buy from online retailers like Snapdeal, Flipkart and Amazon. Yu Yureka on the other hand, carries a lower price tag of Rs. 8,999 and can be purchased only through online flash sales.
Verdict
All the three devices have tie in many departments like display size, resolution and connectivity options. Yet, Xolo LT2000 lags behind in RAM and camera resolution which the other smartphones are offering at same or lower prices. Thus, despite the aggressive pricing of Xolo LT2000, it might have tougher time ahead as the competition in the Indian smartphone market seems vigorous.
