Xiaomi has officially launched the new Redmi Note 7S smartphone in India. It comes with a starting price of Rs 10,999. The Redmi Note 7S is priced in India at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage model costs Rs 12,999. It comes in three color options – Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.
The new smartphone will be available from May 23 via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. Sales will start Mi Studio and Xiaomi partner retail stores on May 24.

The new handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and 3GB/ 4GB RAM. The 32GB/ 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 7S sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Camera features include PDAF (phase detection autofocus), EIS (electronic stabilization), and an AI Portrait Mode.
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 13-megapixel front camera with AI Portrait mode. It also supports AI Face unlock. The 4,000mAh battery supports Quick Charge 4 fast charging technology.

The Redmi Note 7S runs Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.3-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, waterdrop- shaped notch, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back. A P2i splash-resistant coating is also present.
