The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU, and 4GB/ 6GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card. The new handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that offers up to 6 hours of gaming or 8.5 hours of video playback.
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the front and back. The rear camera setup combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (with Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor with an LED flash.
The front camera setup uses a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel front sensor. Additional features include AI dynamic bokeh, AI portrait 2.0, and Face Unlock.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android Oreo operating system with MIUI 9 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port. It sports a 6.26-inch Full-Screen IPS LCD display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 500 nits of brightness and 2.5D Gorilla Glass.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro measures 157.9 x 76.38 x 8.2mm. The metal (aluminum) unibody smartphone sports a display notch and a 86% screen-to-body ratio (compared to its predecessor). A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
