Price and Availability
Both the Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro have been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. However, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

As per recent leaks and listings, the upcoming handsets will sport a 6.1-inch display with a waterdrop-shaped notch. The Redmi logo is placed at the bottom chin.
The rear panel is said to include a vertically aligned quad-camera set up and a fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the back panel will have a gradient finish with light blue and purple shading.
Both the Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro are expected to come in two RAM/ internal storage options – 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage models. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C port.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi 8A is said to be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. It is tipped to come in three RAM/ internal storage variants – 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage, 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage.
In terms of optics, the upcoming smartphone will sport a dual camera set up on the back (with 12-megapixel primary sensor). For selfies and video calling, it will sport an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Redmi 8A is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery, measure 156.3 x 75.4 x 9.4mm, and weigh 190 grams.
