Xiaomi has launched its latest Redmi series smartphone in China, called the Xiaomi Redmi 4X. As for specifications, it packs a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8, it features a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
Based on RAM and storage, the Redmi 4X comes in two variants- 2GB RAM+16GB storage and 3GB RAM+32GB storage. Both variants support expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 5P lens. Upfront, there is a 5 mega pixel camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
Equipped with a 4100mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 15 hours of continuous video playback, up to 2 days of usage and up to 18 days of standby time. The phone features a metal unibody design and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back. It measures 139.24×69.96×8.65 mm and weighs 150 grams.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4X carries a price tag of CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 6,800) for the 2GB RAM+16GB storage variant and CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 8,700) for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant. It comes in Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Cherry Pink color options.
