The new flagship smartphone sports a 2K display with curved edges on all four sides. Xiaomi claims that the Mi 11 has achieved the A+ rating from screen analysis firm DisplayMate.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is also the first smartphone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It also sports a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. Let’s take a closer look:

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is backed by a 4,600mAh battery that supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W wireless charging. It also comes with 10W wireless reverse charging support.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi 11 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor (1/1.33-inch, 1.6 microns pixel size, f/1.85 aperture). It comes with optical image stabilization/ OIS) and up to 8K video recording capability.
The rear camera setup also includes a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.4, 123 degrees that has a field-of-view (FoV) and a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4, focal length equivalent to 50 millimetres).
Additionally, Xiaomi has developed a proprietary feature to capture low-light videos. The 20MP selfie camera (f/2.4) is placed inside a hole-punch display cutout.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 runs Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 (upgradable to MIUI 12.5) on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (nano) smartphone features an anti-glare (AG) frost glass finish (in Horizon Blue, Frost White, and Midnight Gray colors). A vegan leather version comes in Lilac Purple and Honey Beige shades.
In terms of dimensions, the Xiaomi Mi 11 comes with a thickness of 8.06mm and weighs 196 grams. However, the vegan leather version has a thickness of 8.56mm and weighs 194 grams.
The flagship handset comes with stereo speakers (backed by Harman Kardon audio). Additionally, an in-display fingerprint sensor doubles as a heart rate monitor.

Display
The 6.81-inch AMOLED display comes with a 2K WQHD (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) resolution, 1500 nits of peak brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, pixel density of 515ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The touchscreen has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, 8,192 levels of brightness adjustment, and up to 120Hz refresh rate that can go even down to 30Hz (depending on the usage).
Additionally, the display offers a DCI-P3 color gamut. It supports HDR10+ and Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC).

Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is priced at EUR 749 (approx Rs 65,800) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs EUR 799 (approx Rs 70,100).
The new smartphone comes with a two-year warranty and one-time screen replacement for one year. The company has also announced MIUI 12.5 global rollout.
In China, the Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 45,000) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.
While the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 4,299 (approx Rs 48,300), the 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes at CNY 4,699 (approx Rs 52,800).
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date. The Xiaomi Mi 10 was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 49,999.
