The Xiaomi Mi Play is priced in China at CNY 1,099 (approx Rs 11,100) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. It comes in Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight Gold color options (with a gradient finish).
While the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant costs CNY 1,299 (approx Rs 13,200), the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant come with a price tag of CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,300).
The 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant comes in Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight color options. The 6GB/ 128GB storage variant is available in Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight Gold color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with IMG GE8320 GPU and 4GB/ 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi Play sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (with f/2.2 aperture), a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies and video calling the new smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera.

While there is no confirmation about the Indian launch of Mi Play, recently, Xiaomi launched a new Armoured Edition variant (with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage) of its Poco F1 handset. It is priced at Rs 23,999. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model was launched at Rs 29,999.
