It has already been known that Xiaomi has been working on Mi Max 3 – the sequel to its Mi Max 2. The upcoming smartphone will be unveiled somewhere around this year, 2018. It has slowly become one of the most highly anticipated smartphone.
It will probably come with a terrific 18:9 display and an immersive battery. The information and images were leaked by AndroidHits. It reveals that there will be a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. There is also a cutout for a verticle dual camera setup at the top-left corner the case. This suggests the presence of a vertical dual-camera setup on the back.

The images show that the case is made out of thermoplastic polyurethane.
The alleged Mi Max 3 case has three circular openings on the topside of the phone out of which one seems to feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The other might be for the IR blaster. The third one is not known yet. It is also being suggested that the bottom edge of the device will have a USB port, speaker grill, and a microphone.
Based on the leaked renders, the Mi Max 3 will have power and volume buttons on its right side.
Other Earlier Mi Max 3 Leaks
Earlier some firmware files were also leaked which revealed that the device will be run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. Some reports are suggesting that there might be a variant of Snapdragon 630 processor as well. The leaked files also revealed that the device will be built with an 18:9 display.
Earlier reports have suggested that the smartphone will be running on Android Oreo skinned with MIUI 9. The device will come in two variants (3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage).

Interestingly, it is being said that the Mi Max 3 will sport wireless charging backed by a 5,500mAh battery. This could mean that this smartphone will be the second Xiaomi device after Mi7, to feature wireless charging.
Some leaks have also revealed that the Mi Max 3 base variant will be priced at approximately Rs 16,842. The device is expected to be launched in the middle of 2018, as Mi Max devices are normally launched in the middle of the year. Rumors have been reported allegedly that the smartphone will be announced in June 2018.
