Xiaomi is all set to launch a new Android One smartphone, called the Mi A2. Now, a cheaper variant of the device has been listed online in China. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has been listed on the AliExpress in China. It is priced at $190 (approx Rs 13,000) for the 3GB RAM variant. The 4GB RAM variant has a price tag of $210 (approx Rs 14,400). Last week, the same model was spotted in Poland with a price tag of PLN 999 (approx Rs 18,600).

The official launch event (for both the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite) is expected to happen on 24 July in Spain.

As per the online listing, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite sports a 5.84-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,2280pixels). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB. The 32GB storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB). The 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a dual camera (12-megapixel + 5-megapixel) on the rear panel. It comes with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support and 4K video recording capabilities. The 5-megapixel front camera comes with a Smart Beauty feature. The Xiaomi handset is backed by a huge 4,000mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is listed in three color options – Black, Blue, and Gold. The display of the device features an iPhone-like notch. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
