The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is priced at EUR 319 (approx Rs 25,200) for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage model costs EUR 349 (approx Rs 27,560).
The new smartphone comes in Boreal Blue, Gray Onyx, and White Pearl color options (with gradient finishes). As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 was launched in China at CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 18,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 20,000).

The new handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is backed by a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Camera
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth of field sensor. Camera features include super night mode, portrait mode bokeh, HDR, panorama, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video recording.
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include Mimoji Shooting, AI Portrait Mode, 3D Beauty, Front Panorama, Gesture Photo, Front HDR, Front Screen Fill, Face Recognition, and AI Smart Beauty.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite features a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 430 nits peak brightness, and a pixel density of 403ppi.
The company has also added a face unlock feature, Game Turbo 2.0 mode, and Hi-Res audio. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite runs Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. The new handset measures 156.8 x 74.5 x 8.67mm amd weighs 179 grams.
