It has been widely reported that Xiaomi has stopped selling the higher variants of their Mi 6. Apparently, they are only selling the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. This move by the Chinese company suggests that we could all be gearing up for another flagship phone – Xiaomi’s Mi 7.
Fresh photos have allegedly been leaked by Weibo to reveal the appearance and features of Mi 7.

The alleged device is white in colour in the leaked photos. The bottom edge of the phone is equipped with a microphone, an external speaker, and a USB-C port. There are two visible antenna strips on the bottom edge of the smartphone.
The leaked images also show us that just like Mi 6, this smartphone might not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The image also gives us a glimpse of a vertical dual camera setup. On the right side of the phone, there are power and volume buttons. It is probable that a LED flash will be placed between the dual lenses.
Also, there is a SIM card slot on the left side of the phone.
There is no image showing the front side of the smartphone. It is being predicted that the Mi 7 will be built with an iPhone X-like notched display.

Recent speculations and rumours have revealed that the Mi 7 could be Xiaomi’s second smartphone with wireless charging feature backed by a 3,400mAh battery. The smartphone will obviously be powered by Snapdragon 845. It is rumoured that the device won’t be built with more than 6GB RAM. Mi 7 might also feature 3D facial recognition.
It has been recently indicated by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun that the smartphone will be built with an under display fingerprint sensor. Reports have claimed that there could be two variants of the smartphone. A 5.65-inch display device (may not have in-screen fingerprint sensor) and a 6.1-inch display one. It is alleged that the 6.1-inch display Mi 7 will have an under display fingerprint sensor and 4,000mAh battery. It will also be powered by Snapdragon 845.
Already Xiaomi’s Mi Max 3 rear design has been leaked through alleged case render images. The authenticity of these images are not yet confirmed, so it might not be true – and these images have been removed from the source.
