Design
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus feature all metal unibody design while the Mi 5 comes with glass and metal style.
Processor
Xiaomi Mi 5 packs a 1.8GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.15GHz and 2.35GHz respectively.
Display
The Mi 5 and Mi 5s feature 5.15-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus packs a 5.7-inch full HD display with 1080p resolution. The Mi 5s Plus comes with pressure-sensitive display like Apple’s 3D Touch display.
RAM & Storage
The Xiaomi Mi 5 houses 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Other two phones come in two variants based on RAM and storage. The Mi 5s comes in 3GB RAM+ 64GB storage and 4GB RAM+128GB storage variants. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus will be available in 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage / 6GB RAM+128GB storage variants.
Camera
The Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5s sport 16 mega pixel and 12 mega pixel primary cameras respectively. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus comes with 13 mega pixel dual cameras on the rear. Rear cameras of all the three phones are accompanied with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Sony sensor and support 4K video recording. All the three phones are equipped with a 4 mega pixel front camera as well.
Battery
The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a 3000mAh battery, Mi 5s with a 3200mAh battery and Mi 5s Plus comes with a 3800mAh battery. All the three phones support Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Fingerprint Sensor
All the three phones pack fingerprint sensors for additional security. The Mi 5s features an Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that uses Qualcomm’s Sense ID sensing technology and is said to be extremely fast at recognizing fingerprints.
Pricing
The Xiaomi Mi 5 carries a price tag of Rs. 24,999. Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus are yet to be launched in India.
