The new headphones support Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X. It is made for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices.
The Xbox Wireless Headset features rotating earcup dials that allow you to adjust the volume and game/chat balance. It supports fast charging via a USB Type-C port.

The Xbox Wireless Headset is powered by 40mm drivers (made from the paper composite diaphragm and neodymium magnet). It has a response range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz.
The new headset comes with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and supports the SBC codec. Some voice chat features require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold memberships.
Microsoft claims that the Windows 10 devices require Bluetooth 4.2 or above, an Xbox Wireless adapter, or a USB Type-C cable to work with the Xbox Wireless Headset.
The Xbox Wireless Headset supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, DTS Headphone:X on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
You can use the Xbox Accessories app to adjust equalizer settings, auto-mute, LED brightness, bass boost, and mic-monitoring settings.

Design
The Xbox Wireless Headset comes in a black finish and weigh 312 grams. It features a metal band with a foam cushion. The earcups have an oval design with polyurethane leather and foam.
The power/ pair button, mute button, and dial buttons are placed on the left earcup for game/ chat balance. The right earcup features a dial for controlling the volume.
Additionally, the Xbox Wireless Headset features an LED indicator. The mic can be tucked away when not in use, thanks to a bendable boom design.

Battery
The Xbox Wireless Headset is backed by a lithium-ion battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port. It is touted to last up to 15 hours on a single charge.
While the new headset can be fully charged in three hours, thirty minutes of charging can provide you four hours of battery life.

The Xbox Wireless Headset is priced in the US at $99 (approx Rs 7,300). Shipping will start in select regions from March 16.
In India, the new wireless headset will be available from May 10. However, there is no information about the Indian price tag.
