According to recent teasers and rumors, the Vivo Z1 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor (based on 10nm manufacturing process) and an Adreno 616 GPU. It is touted to offer ‘seamless performance’.
The upcoming handset will be equipped with an AI-powered triple camera setup on the back. It will also feature a 32MP in-display selfie camera with an AI Face Beauty feature. A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back.
Additionally, the smartphone’s wide-view screen is said to be ‘perfect for multitasking’. It will also feature a ‘full-day long-lasting battery’ (tipped to be 5,000mAh battery) with the company’s own 18W fast charging technology.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be the company’s first online-focused smartphone. The Z-series smartphone is targeted at Gen Z consumers. “The all-new Z series has been designed to empower the young millennials and fulfill the dynamic needs of the ‘Gen Z’,” said Nipun Marya, Director Brand Strategy, Vivo India.
The upcoming handset is said to be the version of the Vivo Z5x, which was launched in China at CNY 1,398 (approx Rs 14,400) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model costs CNY 1,498 (approx Rs 15,400), the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 1,698 (approx Rs 17,400). The high-end model with 8GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,998 (approx Rs 20,500).

The new handset is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor and up to 8GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Vivo Z5x comes with a triple camera setup on the back. It uses a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.78 aperture), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture).
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Vivo Z5x runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with FunTouch OS 9 on top.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.53-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes in Aurora, Extreme Night Black, and Phantom Black color options. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
