As per the Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the Vivo Y71i features downgrades in RAM and rear camera. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and 2GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The budget smartphone sports a 5.99-inch full-view display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It is backed by a 3,360mAh battery. However, other reports hint at a 3,285mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y71i sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/1.0 aperture and HDR mode. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with f/2.2 aperture and AI beauty features.

The Vivo Y71i runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with standard connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. In terms of design, it is expected to look identical to the Vivo Y71. It measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8mm and weighs 150 grams.
