The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx Rs 19,100). It is now available for purchase in China.
The new smartphone comes in Lake Light Blue, Titanium Gray, and White color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
The new model comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a HD+ display, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and full-HD+ touchscreen on the Vivo Y31s. Rest of the specifications are identical.
The original Vivo Y31s model was launched with a price tag of CNY 1,498 (approx Rs 16,900) for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage models costs CNY 1,698 (approx Rs 19,200).

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor along with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Engine fast charging. It is said to offer up to 25.83 hours of 4G VoLTE talk time on a single charge.
In terms of optice, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) with a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition comes equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera (f/2.0 aperture).

The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition runs the Android 11 operating system with OriginOS 1.0 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM (nano) smartphone sports a 6.51-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition also features a waterdrop-shaped notch on the front. It measures 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.50mm and weighs 188.4 grams.
Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, a proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
