Vivo has launched a new Y series smartphone in Malaysia, called the Vivo Y25. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MTK6580 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.5-inch FWGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.
On the software front, the Y25 runs rather dated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Funtouch OS 2.1. The smartphone houses 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. Coming to the photography department, the handset sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Camera features include HDR, Panorama, Voice Capture, Palm Capture, Children and Watermark among others. Backed up by a 1900mAh battery, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port as connectivity options. Sensors include accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

Price & Availability
The Vivo Y25 carries a price tag of RM 499 (approximately Rs. 7,500) and comes in grey and white color options. There is no word on global roll out of the smartphone as of now. Stay tuned with us for more updates!
Vivo also launched its Y55s smartphone in India last month, for Rs. 12,490. The phone comes with 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.2-inch HD (1280×720 pixels resolution) 2.5D curved glass display and 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). Equipped with a 2730mAh battery, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
