The Vivo Y12 is priced in India at Rs 12,490 for the 4G RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The new 3GB/ 64GB storage variant comes with the price tag of Rs 11,990. You can choose from Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red color options.

The new handset is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery (with preloaded power-saving tech). It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor along with 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. There is also a dedicated Ultra Game Mode.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y12 sports an AI-backed triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and an LED flash. Camera features include PDAF (phase detection autofocus system), HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, Super Wide-Angle mode, Time-Lapse, and Live Photos.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports an 8-megapixel front camera. It supports Portrait Bokeh and AI Face Beauty feature (provide ‘tailor-made’ facial enhancements).

The Vivo Y12 runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS 9 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB port with USB OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.35-inch Halo FullView LCD display with HD+ (720 x 1544 pixels) resolution, a 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and waterdrop-shaped notch.
The new smartphone comes measures 159.43 x 76.77 x 8.92mm and weighs 190.5 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
