Vivo has unveiled two new smartphones- Vivo X6S and X6S Plus, in China. The smartphones succeed the Vivo X6 and X6 Plus which were launched in December 2015.
Both X6S and Vivo X6S Plus are music-focused smartphones and pack similar specifications as that of the predecessors. The Vivo X6S comes with an AKM4375 32-bit DAC while the Vivo X6S Plus features an ES9028 DAC in the Yamaha YSS-205X audio processor. On design front, the devices flaunt their metal body similar to the iPhone 6 and sport a 360-degree fingerprint sensor on the rear that unlocks in just 0.4 seconds.
Under the hood, the Vivo X6S and X6S Plus are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There is an 8 mega pixel front facing camera on both phones. The devices run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offer 4G LTE connectivity with support for Indian LTE bands.
The Vivo X6 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 13 mega pixel rear camera and 2400mAh battery. The X6S on the other hand, is the bigger variant with 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 16 mega pixel primary camera and 3000mAh battery. Both are dual SIM phones with 64GB of internal memory and no support for microSD card.

Price & Availability
The Vivo X6S is priced at CNY 2598 (approximately Rs. 26,700) while the X6S Plus carries a price tag of CNY 2998 (approximately Rs. 30,800). The smartphones are likely to go on sale in China starting April 5, 2016.
