The new Vivo smartphones sport a hole-punch display, Exynos 980 SoC, and an integrated 5G modem.
Additionally, a ‘Multi-Turbo 2.5’ feature automatically switches from 4G to 5G depending on the Wi-Fi speed.
While the Vivo X30 5G sports a triple rear camera setup, the Pro variant comes with an additional 5-megapixel periscope-style camera. Other specs and features remain are similar.

The new smartphones are powered by an octa-core Exynos 980 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage.
Both the Vivo X30 5G and Vivo X30 Pro 5G are backed by a large 4,350mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge support.
Camera
In terms of optics, the triple camera setup on the Vivo X30 5G includes a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP wide-angle sensor (f/2.2), and a 32MP tertiary sensor (f/2.0).
On the other hand, the Vivo X30 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup with an additional 13MP periscope camera with f/3.0 aperture, 5x optical zoom support and a native focal length of 135mm.
For selfies and video calling, both new handsets sport a 32MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture.
Camera features include a super night scene, 50mm portrait mode, slow motion, time-lapse photography, filters, dynamic photos, HDR, AI beauty, panorama mode, and 4K video recording.

Both the Vivo X30 5G and Vivo X30 Pro 5G run the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS 10 on top. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphones feature a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution.
Both handsets measure 158.45 x 74.10 x 8.80mm and weigh 196.5 grams. The Vivo X30 5G comes in Black, White, and Pink color options. The Vivo X30 Pro 5G is available in Black, White, and Pink gradient finishes.
Both smartphones support Face Unlock and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Sensors on the device include gravity sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and electronic compass.

The Vivo X30 5G is priced in China at CNY 3,298 (approx Rs 33,400) for the 128GB storage model. The 256GB storage costs CNY 3,598 (approx Rs 36,400). Sales will start on December 28.
On the other hand, the Vivo X30 Pro 5G is priced at CNY 3,998 (approx Rs 40,500) and CNY 4,298 (approx Rs 43,500) for the 128GB and 256GB storage models. Sales start in China on December 24.
Vivo is offering a free headset for pre-booking customers. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.
