Vivo has launched multiple new smartphones with 24 hours. While the Vivo V11 Pro has been launched in India, the company launched two new devices in Thailand – Vivo V11 and V11i. It also launched it’s much-awaited Vivo X23 in China. Highlights of the new handset include a fourth generation in-display fingerprint reader, 3D glass rear panel, and a waterdrop display notch. The Vivo X23 is priced in China at 3,498 Yuan (approx Rs 36,800). It will be available in Phantom Purple, Phantom Red, Magic Night (Blue hue) color options from September 14. The special Fashion Purple and Fashion Orange color variants (with large Vivo branding across the rear panel) will go on sale from October 1.
As of now, there is no confirmation about the Indian launch date or price.

The Vivo X23 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is backed by a 3,400mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
The company has also added a new twin-turbo acceleration technology. It includes features like System Turbo and Game Turbo (developed by in collaboration with Unreal Engine, Tencent Game Lab and Netease Game Lab). Vivo claims that the System Turbo improves the performance of apps by 100 percent. Whereas the Game Turbo ensures smooth gaming experience.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X23 sports a vertically aligned dual camera on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a secondary 13-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/2.4 aperture and a 125-degree field of view). The 12-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include AI beauty, AI scene detection, and AR stickers.

The Vivo X23 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display (built with COF process) with Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It features slim bezels and a small waterdrop-shaped notch on front. Additionally, the display is slightly curved towards the edges.
The new handset measures 157.68 x 74.06 x 7.47mm and weighs 160.5 grams. Vivo claims that the 3D glass panel on the back been made by engraving tens of thousands of silk ridges and plasma polishing through a unique gas.
The Vivo X23 is equipped with AK4377A audio chip for Hi-Fi audio performance. The company claims that the 4th generation in-display fingerprint scanner can unlock the phone in just 0.35 seconds. The smartphone also supports Face Unlock feature and is also equipped with IR lens.
The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with FunTouch OS 4.1 skin on top. It also comes with Jovi AI assistant. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
