The Vivo X Fold comes with a starting price of CNY 8,999 (approx Rs 1,07,200) for the base model (12GB RAM, 256GB storage). The top-end variant (12GB RAM, 512GB storage) costs CNY 9,999 (approx Rs 1,19,100).
The foldable phone will be available in China from April 22. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
Additionally, the company has launhed the Vivo X Note. It comes with a starting price of CNY 5,999 (approx Rs 71,400) for the base 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model. The top-end (12GB RAM/ 512GB storage) variant costs CNY 6,999 (approx Rs 83,400).

The Vivo X Fold is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor along with Adreno 730 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The new smartphone is backed by a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery that supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W Wireless Flash Charging. It is bundled with an 80W Gallium Nitride (GaN) PD charger.
Cameras
On the back, the Vivo X Fold sports a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor (OIS, f/1.75), a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope-style super-telephoto lens (OIS).
For selfies and video calling, the handset features a 16MP front camera (f/2.45). Vivo has also provided another front camera on top of the folding display.

The Vivo X Fold runs the Android 12 operating system with OriginOS on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
In terms of dimensions, the foldable phone measures 162.01 x 74.47 x 14.57mm (162.01 x 144.87 x 6.28mm when unfolded) and weighs around 311 grams.
The Vivo X Fold sports an 8.03-inch Samsung E5 folding display with 2K+ (1,916 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, a 4:3.55 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by ultra-tough glass (UTG).
Additionally, Vivo has added a 6.53-inch cover display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both folding and cover displays support an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The Vivo X Note is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The new smartphone sports a 7-inch Samsung E5 display with a 2K+ (1,440 x 3,080 pixels) resolution, a 21:10 aspect ratio, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 168.78 x 80.31 x 8.75mm and weighs 221 grams.
Just like the Vivo X Fold, the Vivo X Note comes with a quad rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie cam. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
