The Vivo V9 is priced in India at Rs 22,990. It is now available for pre-order via Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Vivo E-Store. Sales start from April 2nd.
As part of launch offers, customers who pre-order the device will get one-time screen replacement warranty, discount of Rs 2,000, and no-cost EMIs. Additionally, Paytm is offering a cashback of Rs 2,299. Amazon is also providing a cashback of 5 percent as Pay balance.

The new Vivo V9 sports a 6.3-inch IPS ‘FullView Display 2.0’ with full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor and 4GB DDR3 RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3260mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back. It uses a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f2/.4 apertures). The 24-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture.
Additional features include an ‘Ultra HDR’ mode, AI-based Face Beautify app for selfies, video call beautification, ‘AR Stickers’, a ‘Portrait’ lighting effect and Bokeh depth-of-field effect.

The Vivo V9 sports a FullView Display 2.0 with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.99mm and weighs 150 grams. The new smartphone comes in three colour options – Champagne Gold, Pearl Black, and Sapphire Blue.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
The Vivo V9 also comes with a Face Access 2.0 feature that unlocks the device via face recognition. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
