Vivo V5, V5 Plus Launched In India: Price, Specifications & Features

Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the Indian market. Called the Vivo V5, the phone is targeted at the selfie lovers in the country. The V5 succeeds the Vivo V3 and come with several upgrades over the predecessor. The main highlight of the V5 is that it sports a 20 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing stunning selfies.

As for specifications, the V5 packs a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU. It houses 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory with expandable support via microSD card. The phone features a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Coming to the optics, the V5 sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash and PDAF. For selfie lovers, the smartphone sports a 20 mega pixel front camera with Moonlight Glow LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX 376 image sensor, 5P lens, Face Beauty 6.0. Fueled by a 3000mAh battery, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Funtouch 2.6 UI . Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On design front, its flaunts its metal unibody and features a fingerprint sensor for additional security. It also comes with custom AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip for immersive audio.
