Recently, the Vivo launched its S1 Pro smartphone in Russia as a V17 model. Now, the new handset is coming to India (with few modifications).
Vivo has started sending invites for a V-Series launch event in India on December 9. As of now, there is no information about its price.
In Russia, the Vivo V17 is priced in Russia at RUB 22,990 (approx Rs 25,900). It comes in two color options – Cloudy Blue and Blue Fog in Russia.
The new Vivo S1 Pro is priced in the Philippines at PHP 15,999 (approx Rs 22,500). It comes in Fancy Sky and Knight Black color options.
The original Vivo S1 Pro model was launched in China at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 27,500).

The new smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and 8GB RAM. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V17 sports the diamond-shaped quad-camera setup on the back. The Indian variant is tipped to feature an L-shaped quad-camera setup.
It uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 108-degree field of view), a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
