Vivo has slashed the price of two of its smartphones in the Indian market. Both the Vivo V15 and Vivo Y17 have received a price cut of Rs 2,000. The Vivo V15 was launched in India at Rs 23,990. Last month, its price was slashed down to Rs 21,990. Now, the Vivo handset is available at Rs 19,990.
On the other hand, the Vivo Y17 is now available at Rs 15,990. It was launched in the country at Rs 17,990.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor and 6GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The 4,000mAh battery supports a Dual-Engine fast charging technology.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V15 sports a triple camera set up at the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.78 aperture), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture), and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Camera features include HDR, face beauty, timelapse, panorama, bokeh mode, AI body shaping, and palm capture.
For selfies and video chat, the Vivo V15 sports a pop-up selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 lens. It also supports ‘Face Unlock’ feature. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.53-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution.

It combines a 13MP primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture), an 8MP wide-angle secondary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Camera features include PDAF, time-lapse, HDR, AI Face Beauty, Auto-focus, Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus, and a super wide angle mode.
For selfies and video calling, it sports a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include gender detection, panorama, face beauty, live photo, HDR, portrait, AI face beauty, camera filters, etc.
The new handset sports a 6.35-inch LCD display with HD+ (720 x 1544 pixels) resolution, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a waterdrop-style notch. Along with triple camera setup, the gradient back panel also houses a fingerprint sensor. You can choose from two color options – Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple.
