The Vivo U3 is priced in China at CNY 999 (approx Rs 10,000) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant. The higher-end 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model costs CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,000).

The Vivo U3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor along with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The new smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W Dual Engine Flash charging support.
Cameras
On the back, the Vivo U3 sports a triple camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.78 aperture). It also includes an 8-megapixel wide-angle snapper (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For selfies and video calls, the new handset sports a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is housed in a waterdrop-shaped notch.

The Vivo U3 runs the Android 9 Pie operating system with FunTouch OS 9 custom skin on top. It also comes with the Jovi AI assistant.
Proprietary software features on the device include Game Space launcher for games and Multi-Turbo for boosting the performance.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.53-inch display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 394ppi.
The Vivo U3 comes in Spar Blue, Agate Black, and Onion Blue color options (with gradient design). A fingerprint sensor is located on the back. It supports the face unlock feature.
