The Vivo S6 is priced at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 28,700) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 2,998 (approx Rs 31,900).
Sales will start in China on April 3. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new smartphone is powered by a 2.26GHz Exynos 980 octa-core processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Vivo S6 sports a quad-camera set up on the back. It combines a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2), a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
Camera features include 4K video recording, slow motion, professional mode, dynamic photo, night scene, portrait, panorama, AR cute shoot, short video, and a time-lapse mode.
For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 32MP front camera (placed in a waterdrop-shaped notch) with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The Vivo S6 runs the Android 10 operating system with FunTouch OS 10 on top. Connectivity options include 5G support, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 408ppi.
The Vivo S6 measures 161.16 x 74.66 x 8.68mm and weighs around 181 grams. It comes in in Swan Lake, Danube, and Jazz Black options.
For security, the new handset supports Face Unlock. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, Vivo has added a new Cool Turbo technology that reduces heat by 10 percent (compared to its predecessor). Other features include CPU Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Game Turbo, and ART++ Turbo.
