The Vivo S1 was laucnhed in India at Rs 17,990 for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. It is now available at Rs 16,990.
The company also introduced a 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model at Rs 19,990. It has now been discontinued by the company.
In India, the Vivo S1 will be available in Skyline Blue and Diamond Black color options.

The Vivo S1 global variant is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor along with 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the new handset sports a triple camera setup on the back. It comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.78 aperture), 8-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 32-megapixel front camera (f/2.0 aperture).
The Vivo S1 global variant runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS on top. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, USB-OTG, Micro USB, and GPS.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and a waterdrop-style notch. Additionally, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Chinese variant of the Vivo S1 sports a 6.53-inch IPS display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90.95 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with Mali-G72 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB).
The new handset sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (dual-pixel, f/1.78 aperture), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 wide-angle lens), and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 25-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
In terms of design, the Vivo S1 sports similar design as the recently launched Vivo V15. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. The new handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It comes in Blue and Peach Pink color options.
