Videocon Mobiles has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Videocon Z55 Krypton. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Dragon Trail X Anti-scratch glass for protection against scratches.
There is 8GB of internal memory onboard which can be expanded further using microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera for taking selfies.
The Z55 Krypton is backed up by a 2200mAh battery and offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS as connectivity options. Sensors on the device include G-sensor, Proximity and Light sensors. The phone also comes loaded with several apps such as Skype, V-Safe and V-Secure,

The Videocon Z55 Krypton can be grabbed for Rs. 7,999. It will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime and Yu Yureka Plus.
