Videocon has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Videocon Q1. The phone is listed on company’s official website revealing its specifications and features. There is however, no word yet on pricing and availability of the phone.
As per the listing, the Videocon Q1 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Running Android 5.0.2 operating system, the smartphone features a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
On imaging front, the Q1 sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash. There is also an 8 mega pixel front shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls. Camera features that the phone offers include Single Touch Camera Operation, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Geo-Tagging, HDR, Panorama and Night Vision. It packs a Li-Po battery, however, there is no mention of battery capacity of the phone. The device measures 139.8×69.6×8.9 mm and weighs 140 grams.
The Q1 comes with a Dual WhatsApp feature, which as the name suggests, allows users to maintain a balance between their professional and personal life. With this feature, you can use two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.

The pricing and availability details of the Videocon Q1 have not been revealed yet. We expect Videocon to make an official announcement soon.
Videocon has also launched its Cube 3 smartphone in India for Rs. 8,490. The main highlight of the phone is that it is equipped with a ‘panic button’ which has recently been made mandatory by the government.
