Leading PC manufacturer Vaio is all set to launch its first Vaio Phone (VA-10J). According to a website B-Mobile , the handset will go on sale starting March 20. It is also said to have similar specs and design as that of Panasonic Eluga U2 which was launched last month in Taiwan. Under the hood, Vaio Phone (VA-10J) comes powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, the phone features a 5 inch HD IPS OGS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is a 13 mega pixel camera with LED flash on the rear and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. The handset houses 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.
It is fueled by 2500 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on first Vaio phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB. It measures 71.3×141.5×7.95 mm, weighs 130 grams and will be available in Black color.

The Vaio Phone (VA-10J) will go on sale in Japan starting March 20, 2015 via Japanese carrier b-mobile. It is priced at JPY 51,000 (Rs. 26,000 approximately) or JPY 4,000 (Rs. 2,070 approximately) per month. There is no word on global pricing and availability.
