Timex has launched its first analog activity tracked in the Indian market, dubbed the Timex Metropolitan+. Priced at Rs. 9,995, it is available to buy exclusively from online retailer Amazon India.

What’s Inside The Box?
The box of the wearable looks conventional and simple, but it comes with an impressive denim style print over it. First thing in the box, is the Timex Metropolitan watch itself. We have the Black variant (black case with a black dial) of the watch with us. There is also a user manual along with an interchangeable orange colored strap.
About The Timex Metropolitan+ Analog Activity Tracker
The Metropolitan+ comes with a large, round analog dial with standard needles. On the top left quadrant, there is a dial with four options- Bluetooth, Off (Bluetooth and tracking off), D (Distance) and S (Steps).
On the bottom right quadrant, there is again a dial which shows percentage of distance and steps in terms of goals set by the user. It has conventional crown on the middle and an additional crown on 2’o clock position. While the middle crown is for adjusting time, the additional crown controls all smart functionalities.
Pairing of the wearable is very is simple. Users just need to download the Timex app on their smartphones and long press the 2’o clock crown to put it in the Bluetooth mode. Next step is to search the watch on the smartphone app to pair it. What’s next? You’re good to go.
Besides showing time, this watch tracks your daily activities such as steps taken, distance traveled and calories burnt. It also allows users to watch the percentage of goal they have accomplished.
Another interesting feature is the battery life of this wearable. The battery of this watch is said to be good enough to last for up to 1.5 years or 18 months (without charging). It also comes with Timex’s Indiglo feature which makes it easier to use the watch in dark environments by illuminating the watch dial.
