Tecno Mobile has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market. Both the Camon iAce 2X and Camon iAce 2 come with an 8-megapixel AI (artificial intelligence) powered selfie camera. The Tecno Camon iAce 2 is priced in India at Rs 6,699. It comes in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and City Blue color options. On the other hand, the Tecno Camon iAce 2X comes with a price tag of Rs 7,599. It will be available in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Nebula Black color options.
Both smartphones will be available in more than 35,000 retail outlets across India. As part of launch offers, the company is offering one-time screen replacement, 100-day free replacement, and one-month extended warranty.

Both Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X are powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) processor. While the Camon iAce 2 comes with 2GB RAM, the Camon iAce 2X is backed by 3GB RAM. Other specifications are almost identical.
Both devices are backed by a 3,050mAh battery. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the dual camera setup on the back combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a VGA secondary sensor. Camera features include a Night algorithm 2.0 and an LED flash. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with an f/2.0 aperture and a soft LED flash. Additionally, both handsets come preloaded with an AI beauty algorithm (scans up to 228 facial points) and an AI Bokeh mode (blurs the background).

Both the Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with HiOS 4.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE (Nano) smartphones feature a 5.5-inch Full View Display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5 percent screen-to-body percentage, and 450 nits of brightness.
The new smartphones come with an AI Face Lock feature. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Other sensors on the devices include an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and a proximity sensor.
