The Tecno Camon 16 Premier is priced in India at Rs 16,999. It will be available on January 16 via Flipkart and offline retail outlets across India.

The new smartphone is powered by a 2.05GHz MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor and 8GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 256GB).
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier is backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It comes with 18W fast charging support.
Cameras
On the back, the handset sports a quad-camera setup with quad-LED flash. It uses a 64-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.89 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP low-light sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the Tecno Camon 16 Premier features a dual-camera setup on the front. It uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/2.2), an 8MP secondary sensor, and dual-LED adjustable flash.

The Tecno Camon 16 Premier runs the Android 10 operating system with HIOS v7 on top. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 5., Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The new smartphone comes in Glacier Silver colour option. There is a pill-shaped hole-punch cut out on the top-left corner of the display.
The 6.85-inch display comes with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) resolution, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and 480nits peak brightness.
Sensors on the device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, distance reader, e-compass, and gyroscope.
