The Tecno Camon 16 smartphone will be launched on September 3 via an AR event. Interested readers can catch the live launch event on YouTube.
The company has already started teasing the upcoming smartphone with the hashtag #MoreThanACameraPhone.
As of now, there is no information about its price tag. It will be the successor of the Camon 15 (launched in February this year).
The Tecno Camon 15 is priced in India at Rs 9,999. On the other hand, the Tecno Camon 15 Pro came with a price tag of Rs 14,999.

As per recent teasers and reports, the flagship smartphone will sport a 6.9-inch dual dot-in display with ultra-thin bezels at the chin.
A dual punch-hole design at the top left corner of the display will house a 48-megapixel dual-camera setup with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
On the back, the Tecno Camon 16 will sport a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor (up from 48MP primary camera on Tecno Camon 15).
Additional features on the device will include a 33W flash charge, slow-motion, an ultra-night portrait mode, and a super video mode.

Conclusion
Both the Tecno Camon 15 and Tecno Camon 15 Pro sport a quad-camera set up on the back. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with an oleophobic coating on top.
