Nokia has give it all they have in them to the Lumia series of smartphones and with the company discontinuing their propreitary OS, Symbian, the Windows Phone OS is going to be the only OS that will power their devices in near future. But the only problem the Lumia series has is that the number of smartphones in the range is quite less and the devices are not present in every segment for different consumers. And Nokia is all set to expand their range of smartphones under the Lumia series.
Nokia has quite a lot of hopes from the Windows Phone platform and Microsoft also realises the importance of their partnership with Nokia since the Windows Phone platform has seen a huge boost from the day Lumia range of smartphones have hit the stores. In a bid to further boost up the sales of the Lumia range of devices, which are Nokia’s only ray of hope, Nokia intends on making the Lumia in the country slightly more affordable because the current top end devices come at quite a steep price tag.

The long awaited budget WP8 smart phone, HTC 8S is finally available for sale in India. HTC 8S is an entry level Windows phone 8 handset that was announced along with HTC 8X in November this year but wasn’t available anywhere. HTC 8S is the third Windows Phone 8 smart phone launched in India after HTC 8X and Samsung ATIV S. Online retailer Saholic.com has made the listing of the device visible with status ‘In Stock’ for ₹19,359.
