American rivals Amazon and Best Buy have tied-up to sell smart television sets built on Amazon’s very own Fire TV operating system. The partnership was announced on 18th April 2018 via an official blog post by Amazon. Amazon has revealed that they will launch more than 10 Fire TV Edition models (from Toshiba and Insignia) this year. The televisions will be available exclusively through Best Buy’s own store, Amazon’s store and its retail outlets.

American e-commerce and cloud company Amazon has quietly released a new lite web browser for Android smartphones, called the Internet. In Google Play Store, it has been described as “lighter than the competition”. The app has been designed to consume less space on a device. It comes under 2MB in size and covers up to just 26MB of storage space in a device. The company claims, that the browser offers private user experience by not asking any additional permissions like other browsers to collect data. The browser is available for download via Google Play. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 5.0 Marshmallow and above.

Huawei To Launch Its First 5G Smartphone In 2019

Chinese multinational company Huawei has revealed that they will launch its first 5G smartphone in the third quarter of 2019. The launch will be somewhere around July, August, and September of that year. The company announced it during an analyst summit in Shenzen– which it hosted. The company also revealed that it will launch an end-to-end 5G solution in the second half of 2018.
