iBall Andi 4.5q Dual Core Processor Android Phone Launched With qHD Display

Following the same trend as Karbonn Mobiles and Micromax, iBall has too launched a budget Jelly Bean Android smart phone for the Indian Market. Andi 4.5q runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and 512 MB of RAM. It sports a 4.5-inch qHD display offering 960×540 pixels resolution. It also features a 8.0-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing camera which can be used for video calling.

Alike others in the same range it too has dual-SIM stand by capabilities, and is powered by a 2050mAh battery. Moreover, it comes with support for 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Micromax A54 Smarty Launched At Rs.4599

Micromax disclosed their plans of launching 30 new devices for the Indians this year and as per their promise, they’ve started the onslaught. First was the Micromax A116 and now they’ve laid their eyes on the budget smartphone segment. Micromax has just launched Micromax A54 Smarty and even though Micromax has not released it officially, but it has made its way on to the online stores and is listed as In Stock so you can lay your hands on one too.

Micromax A54 is priced at Rs.4,599 and can be bought from flipkart. The budget smartphone runs on a relatively old Android version which is the Android 2.3 Gingerbread but ICS at this price would have been too much to ask for. The device comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The heart is a single core 1 GHz Qualcomm processor which will give it enough processing power to give the budget smartphone users enough capabilities to multitask.

Karbonn S1 Titanium With Quad Core Processor And qHD Display Launched At Rs. 10,990

After Micromax Canvas HD, Karbonn Mobiles has too secretly announced its quad core android S1 Titanium. According to the website, Karbonn S1 Titanium is a 1.2 GHz quad-core powered and dual-SIM Android smart phone measuring 66x 134.6×9.25 mm that will be running the latest v 4.1 codenamed as Jelly Bean powered by a 1600 mAh battery and 1GB RAM. The device will be sporting a 11.4 cm high qHD display with 540×960 pixels resolution.

Lava Iris N501 5-Inch Android Phone Launched In India

The homegrown mobile and tablet manufacturer, Lava mobiles came to the rescue of Intel when MNCs like Samsung, Apple and Nokia did not agree to partner with Intel for their mobile processors. The partnership brought out a smartphone which was difficult to compete with, even by the smartphones from the Koreans and the Finns. Zopo Leader Max ZP950 5.7 Inch Phablet With 720p HD Display Launched

Zopo, the leading Chinese mobile company has just made its foray in the Indian smartphone segment and is looking to take on the Indian mobile giants who have taken a huge share of the mobile market in India. Zopo has just launched a 5.7 inch phablet in the market and has priced it at a price point which appears to us is a bit optimistic for a brand which still has not gained a lot of popularity with the Indian consumers.

The smartphone has been priced at Rs.15,999 and can be pre-booked from the company’s Indian website. Zopo Leader Max ZP950 is the name and the 5.7 inch HD display comes with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and is an IPS display which makes it one of the best displays on offer currently in the budget smartphone segment and it has another segment first, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is not on offer currently in any other smartphone segment.

Swipe Fablet F1 Dual SIM Phone-Tab Launched With Killer Price Tag

Swipe telecom, a name that most of us might not have really heard in the Indian smartphone market has slowly started increasing its consumer base in India. The California headquartered company has just launched their next flagship Swipe F1 Phablet in India at a price of Rs.9,490 which is Rs.500 up from the pre-order price of Rs.8,990. The Swipe F1 phablet is a 5″ smartphone and shall compete with the Micromax A110 Canvas 2.

Swipe telecom has offered several budget tablets and is now trying to strengthen their phablet arena. The F1 is a dual-SIM 5″ phablet and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice cream Sandwich with no announcement of a Jelly Bean update and runs on a 1 GHz Dual-core Mediatek MTK 6575 processor and assisting the processor is a 512 MB RAM. These specifications even though are not ground breaking, but still are similar to the rivals and are offered at a slightly lower price point.
