AOC M601 Launched In India- Price, Specifications & Features

Taiwanese electronics company AOC (Admiral Overseas Corporation) has launched its AOC M601 smartphone in India. AOC is majorly into manufacturing TFT monitors, LCD Tv’s and All-in-one Pc’s. Now AOC has entered the Indian smartphone market with its M601 smartphone. With a huge number of handset makers already existing in the Indian market, let’s see what does AOC smartphone offering brings for us.

This latest single-SIM phablet from AOC is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor, paired with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box operating system. It houses a large 6-inch qHD IPS display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. On storage front it houses 8 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Domestic smartphone manufacturing company Intex Technologies has launched its budget Android smartphones- Intex Aqua R3 and Aqua V3 in India. Both the devices come with some similarities and some dissimilarities. The Intex Aqua R3 is powered by 1.0 GHz processor with RDA8810 Chipset accompanied with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of in-built storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB. It sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera and 1400 mAh battery. The dimensions are 116 x 62.8 x 10.5 mm and it weighs 100 grams.

While Intex Aqua V3 is powered by 1.0 GHz processor with SC7715 Chipset and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It houses 256 MB RAM and 2 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB. It sports 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 2 mega pixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front facing camera, packed with a 1300 mAh battery, available in three color options- Black, Brown and White. It weighs 104.3 grams with 115.1 x 62 x 9.5 mm dimensions.

Domestic mobile handset company lava has launched its latest Android smartphone- Lava Iris Fuel 60 in India. The USP of this phone is its powerful 4000 mAh battery. This smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A7 processor, Mali-400MP GPU, accompanied with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It houses a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

On imaging front, it sports a 10 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing stunning shots. It also features auto focus, panorama, HDR mode, face detection, smile shot, voice capture.

Microsoft has launched its latest budget 4G smartphone based on Windows Phone 8.1- Nokia Lumia 638 in India. The highlight of this device is that it is the cheapest smartphone enabled with 4G in Indian market as of now. This smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Cyan. Sony Xperia E4- Images And Specifications Leaked Ahead Of MWC Launch

Soon after the launch of Sony Xperia E3 in September 2014, Japanese smartphone manufacturer Sony is now reportedly working on its upcoming budget smartphone- Sony Xperia E4 whose images and specifications have been leaked ahead of its expected official launch at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in 2015. This smartphone is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2015. These images went live on internet earlier this week.

Xperia E4, a successor to existing Sony Xperia E3 is most likely to be launched in two variants on the basis of number of SIM’s that it will support. The single-SIM variant will be E2105, while the dual-SIM variant will be E2115.
