Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Goes Official: Price & Specs

Samsung has finally announced the launch of Galaxy S6 Active. Priced at $199, the handset will be available starting June 12 in the US, exclusively in partnership with AT&T with 2-year contract. There is no word on the global launch of the phone as of now.

As for specifications, the S6 Active packs nearly similar specs as the original Galaxy S6. The former handset though is shock proof (rugged), dust and water resistance. It also packs larger battery with capacity of 3500mAh and features wireless charging technology. There is also an Activity Zone button, so that users can access compass, flashlight, stop watch and more quickly.

Celkon Campus A355 Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Celkon has listed a new smartphone-Celkon Campus A355 on its official website. Under the hood, it is powered by a single core processor (unknown chipset) clocked at 1GHz alongside 256MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 3.5-inch HVGA display with 480×320 pixels resolution.

The Campus A355 sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 512MB of inbuilt storage on board which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by a 1200mAh battery, it measures 115.3×63.3×10.15mm, weighs 98 grams and is listed in Blue, Red, White and Yellow colour options. It offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

Micromax has launched a new smartphone in its Canvas series, the Micromax Canvas Fire 3 smartphone. The dual-SIM phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The phone sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by an 1850mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.

Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the handset is now listed on company’s e-store in White, Grey and Silver color options, however the availability status still says that the product is ‘Not in stock’. It is also available to buy from e-commerce website Shopping.Indiatimes for a price as low as Rs.9,750.

A Mumbai base retailer revealed last week that the handset is on sale for Rs. 9,999 bundled with several offers such as 3GB of 4G free data to Airtel customers, free Hungama premium offer (for 3 month) and free Vuclip prime offer (for 3 months).

Celkon has expanded its Millennia series with the launch of Celkon Millennia Q519 smartphone. The handset is now listed on company’s website, however Celkon is yet to make an official announcement for the same.

As far as specifications of the dual-SIM handset are concerned, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution. Intex has launched its first 4G enabled smartphone, the Intex Aqua 4G+ in the Indian market. As for specifications, the Aqua 4G+ is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Dragon Trail Glass protection.
