Expanding its Y series, Vivo has introduced a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Vivo Y27L.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.7-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat based Funtouch OS 2.0. On storage front, it comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. The handset sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Lava has launched a new smartphone in its Iris series, called the Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 4-inch WVGA display with 800×480 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA or 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. Chinese smartphone maker Umi has launched its latest affordable smartphone called the Umi Fair. Highlight of this device is that it is the most affordable phone with fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear of the phone and features self-learning algorithm which can save up to 5 fingerprints and unlocks the phone in mere 0.32 seconds with 99 percent accuracy. On design front, it flaunts its stainless steel inner frame and polycarbonate back .

Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone in the Galaxy O series, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy O7. The device has been spotted on GFXBench revealing specifications.

According to the benchmark listing, it will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. As for display, the listing shows two displays- a 5.8-inch HD display and a 5-inch HD display, both with 1280×720 pixels resolution. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Other specifications of the device include 8GB of internal memory and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
