Reliance Jio Lyf Flame 1 With 4G Support Launched At Rs. 6,490: Specifications & Features

Soon after launching Jio Lyf Earth 1, Lyf Water 1 and Lyf Water 2, Reliance Jio has introduced a new smartphone, called the Reliance Jio Lyf Flame 1, in India.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with resolution of 854×480 pixels. The handset comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Reliance Jio Lyf Wind 6 Launched At Rs. 7,090: Specifications & Features

Reliance has launched a new smartphone under its Lyf brand, dubbed the Lyf Wind 6 4G. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

On imaging front, the phone sports a 5 mega pixel camera on both rear and front. The primary camera comes with LED flash and offers several features such as- auto frame rate, panorama, red eye reduction, smile detection, gaze detection, blink detection, continuous auto focus and video HDR supported in code.

Ahead of official launch, Reliance Jio’s Lyf brand smartphones have appeared on company’s website. These smartphones include Reliance Jio Lyf Earth 1, Lyf Water 1 and Lyf Water 2.

Lyf Earth 1 is the most premium of all three smartphones, flaunting its aluminium alloy frame and monolithic design with a rear glass finish. Facebook & RCom Launch Internet.org Initiative In India

Facebook and RCom have collaborated to launch Internet.org Initiative in India to provide free internet access to the people in India. With the Internet.org app, RCom subscribers will be able to access around 30 websites with no data charges. The websites will range from education, news, maternal health, sports, jobs, communication and more in addition to social networking website Facebook. Reliance Jio LTE SIM Card and Tariff Plans Leaked

Ahead of the launch, the Reliance Jio LTE SIM Card and Tariff Plans have been leaked. TelecomTalk has revealed the broadband plans for Jio, while the LTE SIM card has been revealed by Akshay Gaonkar, Idea Cellular’s National Head – Prepaid Acquisition (Former Product Manager– Postpaid at Reliance Communications) on his twitter page.

Reliance Communications got LTE license in 2010, around four years ago, but the Reliance LTE services have not yet been launched in India. Reliance Jio broadband tariff plans were introduced on Reliance Jio preview portal which were spotted by TelecomTalk. These plans come at ultra-affordable prices.

Aircel introduces cheaper 3G data plans

After the other network operators like BSNL and Reliance, now Aircel also joined the battle of reducing 2G and 3G data tariff plans. This time Aircel launched two new packs for its users in 11 Circles. Two plans are named PI 27 and PI 128. 11 Circles are Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Madyapradesh, Kolkata,, West Bengal, Chennai, Tamil Naidu, Orissa, Karnataka, Andrapradesh.

PI27 Plan gives you unlimited 3G/2G data for one week. And PI128 plan gives you 1GB or 1.5GB 3G/2G data as mention in the table that depends on your circle. Its quite interesting to see that Aircel is offering 1GB of data where it has won 3G spectrum and its offering 1.5GB of data where it don’t have 3G coverage.

Reliance-Samsung 4G Phones At Rs.5,500

4G technology is not at all popular in the country because the 4G devices cost quite a lot and the cheapest 4G enabled smartphone in the country is Sony Xperia Ion which costs around Rs.27,990 and the cost of using 4G services is quite steep as well. But all that is set to change when Reliance will announce their partnership with Samsung regarding the usage of 4G in the country and providing cheaper handsets which are 4G enabled.

None of the companies are commenting on this deal as of now but the insider reports state that Reliance-Samsung partnership will be officially announced via a soft launch in the summer of 2013 in Delhi and Mumbai with the full-fledged launch and announcement due for December 28, the birth anniversary of Late Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of the Reliance group of Industries.R_Comm
